See if this applies:
- Press Windows Key + R and then type "gpedit.msc". Press "Enter" and click "OK".
- From the Computer Configuration tree, expand the Administrative Templates and then expand Windows Components.
- Click Windows Defender.
- You will see a list of settings. Make sure that "Turn off Windows Defender" is set to "Disabled" and click "Ok".
